Thank you so much for signing up for them! I really love the LBD too. I love the cap sleeved version so much! I wear it all summer and the into the fall and winter under my cardigans!

  1. Colleen says:

I’m not sure what my favorite LN pattern will be — I have recently found LN and am enjoying dreaming. I’ve made the Cadence and the Laundry Day Tee. I’m gearing up to make a Rhapsody. But I know that finding the perfect “topper” will be the most helpful for my wardrobe.

    • Josee Albert says:

Hello, I am always inspired when I see your makess. I have been really enjoying the harmony but I think my all time favorite is the La Bella top. Such a quick sew and so confortable.

      • sewmarymac says:

Thank you so much Josee. I love the Harmony too, such a quick sew! My favorite version is the sleeveless for summer. The LBD is also a great one~ I have about 10 different solid color ones!

  2. Mary Deeter says:

Wow! That’s a hard question! I haven’t met a Love Notions pattern I didn’t love! It would be a toss up between the Rhapsody and Metra blazer…or maybe the Tempo sundress? You can’t go wrong with LN! Thanks for the inspiration!

  3. Susan says:

Thank you for sharing your sewing plans with us- it’s given me lots of ideas and now I’m convinced I need the Metra blazer pattern! So far my favorite LN pattern is the Rhapsody- I’m on my 4th version!

  4. ETIENNETTE says:

    • sewmarymac says:

Thank you so much! Now I have to be honest~ I don’t speak French~ my husband does(he when to school there way back when). I hope you will someday have more time to sew. Maybe you can set a small amount of time aside to do so~ as it can be quite soothing to the soul.

  5. Martha Pedraza says:

Hi, I love making the Willow wrap dress, I actually made one to wear to my sister’s wedding. The ones I have in mind to do soon is Olympia and Margot peplum.

  6. Kathy Horter says:

This is a hard one! I love the Glissando pattern for skirts & shorts! My second favorite is the Laundry Day Tee for summer dresses. And I was so proud of myself when I finished my Rhapsody dress! I actually love all the Love Notions patterns!

  7. Andrea Lazar says:

I love all your work, it is very inspiring!!!
I enjoyed much sewing the Metra Blazes last winter and would love to give the Boyfriend Cardigan a try.
    Thanks !

  8. Kris Bohon says:

Rhapsody and Ballad are tied for my top favorites. However the I made the Arlington last winter and am looking forward to making a few more this fall. I really like the numerous options included with all LN patterns!

    • sewmarymac says:

I will always love the Rhapsody. I had never made the Ballad until I wrote a fitting post about it for the LN Blog. It’s now one of the blouses I pull out of my closet a lot!

    • sewmarymac says:

CONGRATULATION KRIS! You are the winner of the free Boyfriend Cardigan pattern. Please send me your email address associated with your Love Notions account and I will get the pattern to you! (If you don’t want to post it here, please use the Contact tab. THANKS!!

  9. Amy says:

Gosh, I have so many favorites! But judging by the number of times I’ve sewn it up (I lost track at 10!), I’d have to go with the allegros!

    • sewmarymac says:

I think it might be very close!. I had a friend that sold them and I loved the style and fit, but wasn’t going to pay the price when I had to shorten it so much to fit me! You can always hold up the pattern pieces to your rtw dress to compare them and make some adjustments.

  10. nstrong3604 says:

The Boyfriend Cardigan is high up on my wish-list. My favorite pattern to sew up is the Arlington Sweater. I have several that I am wanting to sew up this year. You have some great picks for your fall favorites! The Metra Jacket will be on my sewing table next to add some staples to my basics capsule wardrobe, along with several Constellations for comfort!

  11. Wendy says:

Just getting started with LN patterns, the Boyfriend cardi is really cute! I’m looking for things that are more form fitted and like the versatility I see in the LN patterns. Haven’t sewed for myself for some time, but looking forward to getting started! Thanks Mary!!

  12. Georgiana Jackson says:

It is difficult to choose a favorite pattern. I’ve only started using LN patterns this year & love the fact that there is a full bust included. I think the Lincoln Tee is my favorite right now. I only just found your blog today! Thanks

  13. Debbie Costa says:

My favorite LN make so far has been the Saltwhistle. I love the scalloped hem and I received many compliments. I bought 6 patterns during the sale. I love your Aria and had to buy that pattern!

  14. Deb Williams says:

So far my favorite pattern is the Willow Wrap dress. I’ve made 5. Three for me and 2 for my daughters. I also love the LaBella Donna. I’ve made 3 of those. I don’t have the Boyfriend Cardigan yet!!

  15. Rachel says:

I just bought the Rhapsody pattern and can’t wait to make it with RCF rayon challis. I have my eye on the Metra blazer because I want something with a chambray that’s not a button up.

  16. Cathy Lightly says:

I really appreciate all the variations of Love Notions all the ambassadors make. I especially like the Laundry Day Tee. Thank you for your blog.
